This document presents an overview of fertilizer statistics in Rwanda from 2017 to June 2022. The report analyses fertilizer production, import, origin, NPK import analysis, export, and consumption. The data is derived from official trade records provided by the Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Development Board (RAB) and is validated by the Fertilizer Technical Working Group. Key findings include the absence of primary fertilizer production in Rwanda, notable fertilizer importers, and patterns in fertilizer imports and consumption across different crop seasons. The document also highlights the countries of origin for imported fertilizers and provides insights into NPK blend preferences. The report underscores the significance of fertilizers in Rwanda's agricultural sector and their impact on crop productivity.
