Abstract
The fertilizer port factsheet give information about a port in Tema, Ghana. In terms of infrastructure, the factsheet covers dry bulk berths, maximum vessel capacity, maximum vessel draught, access to the mainland which can be either by road or rail, competing ports (Abijan, Lome), destination countries of transit goods (Burkina Faso), and maximum bulb carriers. The storage area suitable for fertilizer consists of a total capacity of 355,000 m2. The warehouse has a capacity of 25,000m2. A total of 503,764 tons of fertilizer were handled in 2022 and the optimal offloading rate is 3900 t/day. In operation aspects, 1% of spillage is recorded, and road traffic is medium. The average number of rainy days is 54, and the main products are good and main port.
