Abstract	Fertilizer blend calculation software or manual calculations can be used to calculate ingredients in blend formulas during fertilizer bulk blending. Fertilizer blend calculation software is effective since it avoids human errors and is fast. However, it is expensive. For manual calculations, knowledge is needed to interpret formulas and the nutrient content of raw materials. Irrespective of the formula, a step-by-step method should be used when calculating manually. First, the nutrients needed to make a blend should be listed, along with the blending ingredients for each nutrient selected, the compatibility check, the kg of nutrients required in the blend, the nutrient content for selected blending ingredients checked, and lastly, the calculations of each blending ingredient, such as how many kg are needed for one ton.
