Abstract | Guidance on how agri-input dealers can organize transportation to deliver products from their stores to farmers’ farms is provided. Different methods for transporting agri-inputs are discussed, including on-the-spot sales by the dealer, offering transport as a service, using a third-party transporter, leveraging farmer associations, or having farmers transport the goods themselves. Each method is evaluated for its advantages and disadvantages from the perspective of the dealer, highlighting factors such as customer engagement, cost, and potential risks. The sheet aims to help dealers select the most effective transport method to improve sales and ensure the safe delivery of agri-inputs while mitigating potential issues. | |
