This publication focuses on the importance of judicious and balanced fertilizer use through the 4R principles (Right Source, Right Rate, Right Time, Right Place) implemented by the APART project in Assam under the guidance of the International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC). It emphasizes the need for nutrient management planning. By following these principles, farmers can optimize nutrient use, increase crop yields, reduce environmental pollution, and promote long-term agricultural sustainability
