Abstract
This report presents a comprehensive profile of Dr Paul J. Stangel, a distinguished international development official, researcher, and former President and Chief Executive Officer of the International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC). Dr Stangel's remarkable career spans several decades, during which he played a pivotal role in shaping the agricultural development landscape of developing countries, particularly in Asia and the Middle East.
