AbstractThe Soil Values approach focuses on small-scale food producers in Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, and northern Nigeria, aiming to address soil fertility constraints and achieve sustainable soil fertility management. These producers face challenges such as poor soil health, climate instability, and limited access to markets. The approach seeks to bridge temporal, spatial, and non-commodity gaps in soil investment by promoting proper soil valuation. Through holistic strategies organized into agro-ecological, inclusive market development, and enabling environment pathways, the program aims to enhance food productivity and resilience among small-scale food producers in the Sahel.
