Abstract
Detailed guidelines on how to properly plant and care for cassava, maize, and rice crops, focusing on planting techniques, spacing, fertilizer applications, and side dressing schedules are discussed. Cassava should be planted at a depth of 15 cm and spaced 80 cm apart, with a stake length of 20-25 cm. Fertilizer application involves ring and side dressing techniques, with specific amounts of fertilizer (one matchbox or one coca cola bottle top) applied at designated intervals (8 weeks after sprouting for cassava, 5-6 weeks after germination for maize, and at land preparation and 5 weeks after transplanting for rice). Proper handling precautions, such as wearing gloves during fertilizer application and washing hands afterward, are emphasized for safety.
