FPOs and FPCs are emerging as crucial tools for the aggregation of small and marginal farmers, enabling them to benefit from economies of scale, reduce production costs, access modern technology, and improve marketing strategies. The article provides insights into the legal structure of FPOs and FPCs, their advantages, and their impact on farmers' incomes. It also highlights the training and capacity-building efforts undertaken to strengthen these farmer collectives.
