Abstract
In Eastern Uganda, a farmers' cooperative has achieved year-round production of clean seed potatoes through irrigation. This transformative initiative addresses seasonal constraints and ensures reliable supply of high-quality seeds. Supported by technological advancements and sustainable farming practices, the cooperative has improved productivity and enhanced the resilience of its members against climate variability. The project's success underscores the importance of irrigation in promoting food security and economic stability in rural communities.
