Abstract
This report provides an overview of IFDC's research and activities in 1982. In order to increase food production and raise living standards worldwide, IFDC focuses on making better use of the resources available to people in order to create fertilizers that are more affordable. Research on lowland and upland nitrogen studies, phosphate research, sulfur analysis, potassium and trace element studies, research on nitrogen use efficiency, and study on the briquetting/compacting process are all covered in this report. The report additionally addresses the IFDC's growing national initiatives in Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Mali, as well as its economic research and studies on energy policy. It also emphasizes the organization's challenges, training initiatives and function as the African Center for Fertilizer Development's Executing Agency.
