Abstract
The IFDC's accomplishments and contributions to agricultural development are emphasized in this report. In order to address the global demand for increased food production in developing nations, especially in the tropics and subtropics, IFDC was founded. The center's main goals are to support small-scale farmers and address the crucial role that plant nutrients play in food production by improving fertilizer efficiency and knowledge transmission. The report highlights the value of working with scientists, educators, and farmers in developing nations while also acknowledging the significant roles played by important people and organizations throughout IFDC's history. It lists the initiatives for technology transfer and capacity building through international training programs that are carried out by IFDC. The importance of inorganic fertilizers to global agriculture is also covered, as is the IFDC's role in encouraging their use to boost food production. It draws attention to the increasing reliance on fertilizers, especially in low-income nations, and emphasizes the necessity of sustainable development as well as initiatives to eradicate hunger and poverty.
