| Abstract | This research explores strategies for promoting the commercial and sustainable supply of early generation seed (EGS) for food crops in Sub-Saharan Africa. The study examines the challenges and opportunities associated with EGS production and distribution in the region, highlighting the significance of this critical agricultural input in enhancing food security and livelihoods. Drawing on a comprehensive literature review and case studies, the abstract presents key findings on innovative approaches, policy frameworks, and partnerships that can foster a resilient and profitable EGS supply chain in Sub-Saharan Africa.
